The Woodland Township Historical Society is devoted to the preservation of the unique heritage of Woodland Township in order to convey the rich legacy of its past to future generations.
Woodland Township Historical Society was formed in 2000 by a handful of local residents with a desire to document the history of Chatsworth, Capital of the Pines, and Woodland Township. Many of these founding members are no longer with us and at present our small group includes individuals with an unending interest in the Pines. We welcome individuals to join us to explore our past as we welcome the future. Your support is appreciated and donations can be made by check or Paypal using the friends and family option.
WTHS is a non profit 501c3 organization devoted to the preservation of Woodland Township’s unique Pinelands’ heritage, and to the dissemination of pertinent historical information to convey the legacy of the past to present and future generations.
Our exhibit room is located in the White Horse Inn, 3980 Route 563, Chatsworth, NJ 08019. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month, 11:00 AM at this location. Contact us for additional days we may be open.
